We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst in BanQsoft, you will work closely together with the Product Manager, Product Owner and other Business Analysts to develop and deliver client specific solutions in close collaboration with the development team. Our software is used by renowned clients both inside and outside of the Nordics, and the team you will join is responsible both for maintenance and development of the software. The Business Analyst are responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions. To be successful in the role we believe you have a strong understanding of business operations, possess excellent analytical skills, and can communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

What does the role look like?

• Participate in internal and external product development initiatives

• Translate business objectives into functional requirements for the development teams

• Assist in maintaining the backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager, Product Owner and other Business Analysts

• Analyze customer behavior to identify areas for improvement  

• Data gathering and structuring, simple implementations  

• Configure and test Banqsoft's software  

• Participate in product roadmap planning and provide input based on market research, customer insights and data analysis  

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that implemented solutions meet the business requirements

Are we a great match?

To master the role of  we believe that you have: 

• At least 2-3 years relevant work experience

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in a related field  

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools  

• Excellent communicative skills in English 

• Problem-solving abilities with attention to details and accuracy, can-do attitude, and you like to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong alignment with our Employee DNA 

It’s great if you have (but not a must!):

• A good understanding of business processes within Asset Finance  

• Knowledge about financial products such as loans and leases

• Experience related to implementation of software supporting financial products or other critical business systems  

• Experience in Testing
