We’re excited to announce an opportunity for an IT Security Administrator!
Role Overview
As a Security Administrator, you will be responsible for hands on maintenance security systems and protocols and security monitoring. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and respond to incidents — all while helping shape our security posture. Defining, implement, and continuously improve business processes related to control operations including creating user-facing guidance and reporting tools to support Banqsoft.

What does the role look like?
Implement and manage security tools (defender, OS security firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM). Compile and deliver weekly and monthly reports for a range of stakeholders
Manage user access controls and identity management (IAM), strong authentication for both users and non-human entities
Collaborate with our SOC to monitor systems and networks for vulnerabilities and threats, act upon the identified vulnerabilities. Respond to and investigate security incidents. (30% of the work)
Network security, secure network architectures and security controls, monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity from a threat management perspective
Apply a risk-based approach to design and remediation efforts, balancing security and business needs and take part of regular audits and risk assessments, you are part of a team that is responsible for implementing the result
Collaborate cross-units and contribute to the development of security policies, procedures and rules.
Continuous development is important for us and we like you to stay current with emerging threats and technologies, analyse compliance data and identify trends to drive improvement
Are we a great match?
3+ years of experience in IT security or Security administration
Strong understanding MS environment, Microsoft 365 Security Suite (MS Defender Suite, MS Entra ID, MS Intune, MS Purview, MS Sentinel) certificates is preferable
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms
Experience with the operational implementation of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and compliance GDPR/DORA
Preferable relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus (nice to have, PowerShell must have)
