Katarzyna Adamczyk talks about her inspiring Banqsoft journey - from her early days in HR to becoming a Team Manager in Banking & Credit Services.

My adventure with Banqsoft started with a unique challenge – being the very first HR Consultant and the sole HR person in our growing Polish office. It was an incredible opportunity to shape the people culture from the ground up, and I truly valued the trust and autonomy Banqsoft gave me right from the start. It was all about connecting with people, understanding their potential, and building a supportive environment where everyone could thrive.

What I quickly learned at Banqsoft is that people aren't just cogs in a machine; they're the heart of everything. The company fosters a real sense of collaboration and constantly encourages learning and development. This culture of growth is something I experienced firsthand. As my journey in HR unfolded, my role naturally evolved. I moved from being an HR Consultant to taking on broader responsibilities as HR Business Partner and HR Manager - supporting our growing team, shaping our internal processes, and helping to build a positive workplace culture. I had the chance to work closely with colleagues across different departments, learning what really matters to people and how to help them thrive. This experience in understanding teams' dynamics, nurturing talent and facilitating collaboration proved invaluable as I transitioned into a leadership role. In many ways, my HR background provided a strong foundation for understanding the human element that is so crucial to successful team management.

So in October 2024 I took a leap into something completely new - I moved into the Banking & Credit Services Development area, taking on the role of Team Manager for one of the Development teams. This transition, from HR to leading a tech team, might seem unexpected, but it perfectly highlights Banqsoft's commitment - how much growth is possible when you’re surrounded by supportive colleagues and a company that believes in your potential. It's been a fantastic learning curve, and I'm constantly inspired by the talent and dedication within my team.

Looking back, my journey at Banqsoft has been all about embracing new challenges and recognizing the incredible value of the people around me. If I could offer one piece of advice to anyone starting their career, especially at a place like Banqsoft, it would be this: be open to new opportunities, even if they seem outside your comfort zone. Cultivate strong relationships, be curious, and never stop learning. You might be surprised where your journey takes you!
