Gastón Nuñez has been with Banqsoft for over a decade, and his journey isn’t over yet! Check out his story, the highlights so far, and what he’s looking forward to next.

I started my journey at Banqsoft back in august 2011, and although I had a brief one-year (2022) break along the way, this company has been a major part of my professional life for well over a decade. It’s been an incredible ride filled with growth, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped both my career and my personal development. When I first joined the company, I took on the role of an Application Operation Technician. It was an exciting time, and I quickly found that the dynamic environment at Banqsoft matched my eagerness to learn and take on responsibility. Before we even started with Hosting customers and our delivery models. Early on, I was involved in numerous challenges and go-lives, each of them sharpening my technical skills and broadening my understanding of our operations. Some of the highlights of my journey was contributing to all the project, go lives and also the creation of the existing SaaS project team within SaaS Operations and shape it. I was also proud to be part of the CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) initiative, particularly focusing on the CD side, which greatly expanded my knowledge of automation and deployment processes. These experiences not only strengthened my technical expertise but also helped me develop a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation.

Over time, my passion for learning and my willingness to take on more responsibility led to new opportunities. I was promoted - first stepping into a Team Lead role (Project team) and to my current position as Team Manager for the Asset team in SaaS Operations, where I have been serving for almost a year now. Every role change came with new challenges, but each one also taught me valuable lessons about leadership, communication, and resilience. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned throughout this journey is the importance of stepping outside my comfort zone. Whenever I took on unfamiliar tasks or responsibilities, it always led to personal and professional growth. Those moments of uncertainty became stepping stones to becoming a more capable, confident technician and leader.

Beyond the projects and promotions, what truly makes Banqsoft special is the environment. Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours here, and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere has always made it a place where I felt comfortable and genuinely enjoyed coming to work. The people here - colleagues, mentors, and friends - have made the long hours worthwhile and contributed significantly to my positive experience.

Today, as the Team Manager for Asset in SaaS Operations, I have the privilege of leading an incredible team. Together, we focus on continuous improvements, always striving to make things better not just for ourselves, but for the broader organization. I’m proud of what we have achieved so far, and even more excited about what’s ahead.

Looking to the future, I’m committed to continuing my growth alongside Banqsoft. I believe that the journey never truly ends; there’s always more to learn, more to improve, and more ways to contribute to the success of the company and our clients. With a great team by my side and an environment that fosters improvements and collaboration, I’m confident that the best is yet to come.
